DEMOCRACY COMMITTEE RULING
On Friday 10th November, it was brought to the attention of the Democracy Committee that three candidates had shared a manifesto template from an external organisation. This resulted in a breach of Election Rule 3.3, specifically: "Candidates... cannot share resources with other candidates".
The following ruling has been made by the Democracy Committee:
- Manifestos of the candidates in question shall be removed from the election page until they are able to provide an alternative.
- The three candidates in breach of the rules will be given a formal warning and any further breaches will be met with sanctions.
