SU Campaigns

There are seven campaigns that exist within Cambridge SU; they are communities within the SU’s student membership. Each group has its own committee, events and campaigns that they run.

  • BME Campaign The BME Campaign represents SU members who define as being black or part of an ethnic minority.
  • Class Act Campaign Class Act represents SU members who self-define as experiencing social, educational, cultural or economic disadvantage.
  • Disabled Students' Campaign The Disabled Students' Campaign represents SU members who self-define as disabled, or who have themselves experienced disability.
  • Ethical Affairs Campaign The Ethical Affairs Campaign is open to all SU members and raises awareness of social and environmental issues.
  • International Students' Campaign The International Students' Campaign represents SU members who come from overseas to study in the UK or who are citizens of other countries.
  • LGBT+ Campaign The LGBT plus Campaign represents SU members who self-identify with any sexual, romantic or gender identity included within the wider umbrella of LGBT plus.
  • Women's Campaign The Women's Campaign represents SU members who self-define as women, including (if they wish) those with gender identities which include ‘woman’, and those who feel they experience misogynist oppression.
