Want a website for your hobby, society, project or anything else? Want to host your own game server or use free video conferencing? Or are you interested in Linux and software? Get involved in one of the largest societies in Cambridge, it’s free and easy to get started!

The Student-Run Computing Facility (SRCF) exists as a university society to provide useful and flexible computing and network services, for all University of Cambridge staff and students, regardless of technical experience.

Individuals may join the SRCF as members, which provides user access to our servers. For any groups of people wanting to collaborate, we offer shared society accounts with all the same services.

All user and society accounts come with:
- website hosting with a rich variety of features
- access to a video conferencing platform
- email and mailing lists @srcf.net
- 2 GB of file or web space
- free lifelong email and website forwarding
- friendly and helpful sysadmins

...and much much more.

Want to go further and play a more active role in SRCF? We are one of the largest societies in Cambridge, so we could always use extra help! Our committee changes every March and offers a non-technical route into the society.

If you're more technically inclined then consider joining our system administrator team. As a sysadmin you would build a skill-set in networking and software development, maintaining and improving services for over 10,000 members. Pop in any time of the year!
