A chapter of a larger student-run children, we are an ever-growing team of bubbly and enthusiastic volunteers, passionate about making a difference to children living in the Cambridgeshire area.
Make A Smile is a student-led charity that was founded in 2017 by a Cardiff University Medical student. Our vision rests upon the belief that all children deserve a childhood, regardless of illness, disability or background. Make A Smile volunteers visit hospitals, play-groups and schools, dressed as well-known childrens’ characters and equipped with the skills learnt in our rigorous training programme. In its mission, the charity regards fun as the number one priority, with volunteers engaging with children through the medium of play.
