Cambridge University Eco Racing (CUER) designs, builds, tours and races cutting-edge solar-powered cars across the world. With every car we build and race we take on and beat the world's greatest engineers with help from students across the university. We also frequently organise outreach tours and PR opportunities across the UK and worldwide, but our main aim every two years takes us to Australia, where we race in the 1800-mile World Solar Challenge against student and professional teams from across the world. Alongside promoting Cambridge University and engineering itself we, and our sponsors - which have included Intel, Jaguar, Boeing, and Ricardo alongside many others - work to promote STEM education, sustainable engineering, and environmental awareness whenever we tour the UK or elsewhere. To be able to build, showcase and race our vehicles we need not just engineers but also anyone with an enthusiasm for new technology, environmental issues, expensive gadgets and public relations to broadcast what we do to the world through our website, social media and public appearances. If you would like to get the chance to talk to CEOs of international businesses, work with a £500,000 budget, take part in massive public PR events and build some of the most-efficient solar-powered cars ever seen, contact us via Instagram @cuer_team or email captain@cuer.co.uk, see our Facebook page or find us on Twitter #CUERSolarTeam.
