We are a student-run brass band with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere; there are no auditions and anyone studying in or around Cambridge is welcome. We rehearse every Thursday 8-10pm.

CU Brass Band is a student-run, non-audition group, open to all brass players. We usually perform at least one concert each term, on top of smaller group events such as busking, Christmas dinners, May Ball performances and Oktoberfest.
The band plays regular concerts in and around Cambridge and tours an area of the UK each Easter. We are a friendly ensemble and, as well as weekly post-rehearsal evenings in the bar, CUBB organises a number of special social events each term, for example every year on Shrove Tuesday we each pancakes and watch Brassed Off together.
We are currently rehearsing every Thursday at Wolfson College's Lee Hall at 8-10pm. Feel free to join us for a drink in the bar afterwards!
We have a number of instruments (including tubas) for the use of players who don't own their own, so feel free to get in touch even if you don't have an instrument with you in Cambridge.
