Welcome to the Cambridge branch of Students for Global Health. We firmly believe in tackling global health issues at a local level and as such our main branch aims are to:
Raise awareness of health issues within the local Cambridgeshire community
Educate ourselves about local and global health issues, challenges and solutions
Campaign for positive health policy change at the University, local and national government levels
In the Cambridge branch, we hope to achieve this via dedicated subcommittees which work on different issues and activities. Our subcommittees this year are:
Sexual and Reproductive Health
Access to Medicines
Poverty and Health
Race and Health
Global Health Lecture Series
We welcome students in Cambridge to join our subcommittees. Also, our subcommittees will be organising a variety of events online from lectures to book clubs which anyone is welcome to attend. Keep a lookout on our social media for updates and sign up for our mailing list.
