Revolver & Pistol Club

If you have a steady hand and a cool nerve, then pistol shooting could be for you. The club specialises in competitive Air Pistol shooting, although we also compete with Light-weight Sporting Rifles. We attend a number of big competitions, sending a team to the Imperial Meeting every year and small groups to the British Airgun Championships and Intershoot. The club has an active social side culminating in the Annual Dinner at the end of the Lent term. The shooting season starts with a Beginners' Match but club members can compete at whatever level they feel comfortable with. One of our most important matches is the Spring Varsity Match, where a Half-Blue may be earned. Benefits - use of club equipment, coaching, membership of the Cambridgeshire Shooting Association. Possibility of earning a Half-Blue.
