It’s an exciting time to join Cambridge SU as we’ve just launched an ambitious strategy, and moved into our excellent new space (which has incredible Mill Pond views).

Student groups, community building and personal development are the heart of the Activities Team, where this role sits. You’d be joining a passionate team who deliver support for over 500 sports clubs and societies as well as key flagship events throughout the year including Freshers’ Fair and the Shadowing Scheme.

Job Purpose

This role leads on all of our current access projects and activities, working closely with the Access, Education & Participation Officers (UG & PG) to deliver these; and work with the rest of all future access initiatives; for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Alongside the job description, role-holders will be expected to deliver upon objectives defined in the organisation’s strategic plan and associated work plans.
Training upon appointment
The successful role holder will have to have a satisfactory police record check including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Additional safeguarding training will be required due to the nature of the role.
