Overview

If you can't, or would rather not, visit the in-person freshers' fair, join the live chat on our website to ask and learn about the ancient and noble sport of Tiddlywinks!

You may have played the original version of tiddlywinks as a child - trying to get a small, brightly coloured plastic counter into a pot, by pressing down on it with a larger brightly coloured plastic counter and sliding off the edge. The game as we play it has an important addition: squopping, in which you instead land on an opponent's wink, which they cannot then play until they manage to unsquop it by squopping the top wink and doing some very tactical pile-play. This turns it into a surprisingly skilled, tactical game of territorial control, which can be taken very seriously indeed, or can be simply enjoyed as a prelude to the post-training pub trips.

We also have a freshers' squash on Wednesday evening (7:30pm) at the Selwyn diamond, all are welcome!
