How to book the SU Lounge:

Please note all booking requests must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to your proposed event 

All Lounge Bookings must be submitted through the Activities Dashboard which can be accessed through your committee access to the SU website.

SU Lounge

The SU Lounge at the University Centre is available to hire free of charge to societies registered with the SU. Requests are subject to availability and to agreement of our terms of hire. You must provide at least 5 days notice for all bookings.

Perfect for:

Meetings, training, presentations, rehearsals, .

Capacity:

50 capacity, including seating for approx 20 and room for more chairs if you provide them.

Facilities:

Sofas and coffee tables, café-style tables and chairs, WiFi.

Availability:

Monday - Friday: 17:00 - 20:45*

Saturday - Sunday: closed

Closed on Bank holidays & Seasonal Holidays

*Term time only. Available 17:00-19:00 outside of term time.

There is step free and wheelchair access via the lift. There is a variety of padded seating, an accessible toilet, and a gender-neutral toilet. There isn't a hearing loop, a BSL interpreter, general car parking, or blue badge parking. This is a relaxed event; you may move around the room, lie down, arrive or leave whenever you wish, etc.
