Treasury Reform Amendment

This motion amends the KCSU Constitution to wit with the way KCSU and College handle their finances.

KCSU Notes:

1. Recent changes to the way the college and KCSU handle their finances have not been reflected in the KCSU Constitution.

KCSU Believes:

1. As the KCSU’s finances are currently delicate and are the most scrutinized part of KCSU by the college, it is essential that rules for the treasurers and the KCSU finances should be clear and consistent.

KCSU Resolves:

1. To amend Section IV, Article 9 of the Constitution to read: “The Junior Treasurer and the Senior Treasurer shall present audited accounts for KCSU to the College Council and the KCSU Membership. The Accounts for each fiscal year will be presented before the last meeting of Council during Michaelmas Term.”
