Founded in 2022, the Cambridge University ALS society aims at raising awareness about the ALS disease, educate students and others about the ALS disease and fundraise money to fight against the ALS disease. In order to achieve that, the society will connect itself with the people affected by the disease, i.e., patients families and loved ones, with the research community and with the main associations, whether at the national or international level.
More than fighting against the ALS disease, the society aims at creating cross-generational bonds between people whatever their position at the university is.
