We're a student newspaper with a global perspective!
The Cambridge Globalist publishes rigorous, thought-provoking student writing about international politics, culture and economic affairs. The Globalist's model of student journalism focuses on quality over quantity, producing long-form analysis and opinion pieces, similar to the Economist or New Yorker - with all articles reviewed by at least two editors before publication. Check out our website and Facebook page to learn more!
How to get involved:
There are multiple ways to get involved, write articles or conduct interviews for the Cambridge Globalist!
Join our Writers' Group on Facebook: Our Politics, Culture, Economics, Science, Perspectives and Interview editors post weekly ideas for articles that you can pitch to write on. No prior writing experience is necessary!
Join our Mailing List: Alternatively, you can sign up for our mailing list to hear about the latest commissions for articles from our editors via email.
Email a pitch to the Editors: Already have an idea for an article, a column, or an interview with a famous figure? Contact the Editors-in-chief directly at firstname.lastname@example.org with a few sentences describing what you would like to write. As long as it fits our style, we'll ask you to write a draft and direct you to a topic Editor to review the article with you.
