To help demystify the Natural Sciences (NST or NatSci) course, SciSoc has produced ‘The SciSoc Guide to NST 1A’. The guide was written with students for students. In it, you will find frank and honest assessments of the courses offered in your first year studying NatSci. Due to structural changes to the Natural Sciences Part IA course starting from AY 2026/27, the biological subjects available to the incoming year group will differ from those mentioned in this guide. However, we have still included advice written for the old subjects, as there is significant similarity in old and new course content. We hope this helps incoming students with their subject choices and gives prospective applicants insight into the NatSci course!
