CU ICM Soc promotes among the Cambridge community Indian classical music performance by bringing together musicians trained or interested in the forms of Indian classical music performance, including both vocals and instrumental music.
Membership is open present and past members of the University and members of the public who are residents of Cambridge and who have an interest in the performance of Indian classical music. The society shall also form a performing group to represent the society and perform at events organised by other societies. The society shall organise regular practice sessions, workshops, performances by members, and masterclasses and performances by eminent Indian classical musicians.
