Colombian Society

The main objective of the University of Cambridge Colombian Society is to bring together the community of people that have a specific interest in Colombia.

• To build and maintain a community of people connected to Colombia through organising academic, cultural, social and sports activities and special events in Cambridge and surrounding areas.
• To actively promote Colombia and its culture in Cambridge and the UK.
• To facilitate the creation of platforms for the discussion of academic and social matters relevant to Colombia.
• Open and maintain communications and diffusion channels in order to keep current and potential members of the society updated about new academic events and social activities.
• To articulate professional and academic networks between institutions and people interested in undertaking initiatives related to Colombia.
• To provide support for the well-being of Colombians living or arriving in the Cambridge area.

This society is open to all interested members and non-members of the University, regardless of creed or nationality.
