Since its foundation in 1784 the society has played an important role in the lives of medical students at the University of Cambridge. We aim to complement the academic lives of our members both through talks by prominent academics and clinicians as well as a number of social events such as the MedSoc Ball. MedSoc provides further academic support by the organisation of the Clinical School Forum and through the allocation of travel grants each summer.
