The Cambridge Ahmadiyya Muslim Student Association (AMSA) is a welcoming society for all students and staff of all faiths and backgrounds to learn more about the peaceful teachings of Islam by putting on various talks and discussion forums.

What is Islam Ahmadiyyat?

We are Muslims who believe in the Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be upon him), who founded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1889 as a revival movement within Islam set out to promote the essential teachings of peace, love, justice, and sanctitiy of life.

You can learn more about Islam and Ahmadiyyat using a number resources:

  • The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam is available to download here in many formats (including as an audiobook).
  • And for those interested in the beliefs held by Ahmadi Muslims can read them here.
  • And for those with misconceptions about Ahmadiyyat and Ahmadi Muslims, there is a great on-going series called Ahmadiyyat 101 on YouTube.

You can also follow the weekly Al Hakam or the monthly Review of Religions publications. If you prefer audio content, you can hear the weekly sermons delivered by our spiritual leader, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, translated into English on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
