Founded in 1942, the Cambridge University Physics Society (CUPS) provides the perfect social scene for everyone with an interest in physics. We organise regular events including lecture series, cocktail evenings, the annual Omega Dinner, and a May Week Garden Party. CUPS presents an unrivaled opportunity to enjoy talks by internationally renowned speakers, which have included Stephen Hawking, Jim Al-Khalili, Roger Penrose and many, many more, on subjects ranging from the cutting edge to the purely historical, philosophical, astronomical, or biological. A drinks reception follows each talk, where there is an opportunity for informal discussion with the speaker. Keep up to date with our events via: - Facebook and Twitter - Our Website - E-mails (you can sign up to our Interested mailing list with no obligation to become a member) For inquiries about CUPS, contact our secretary.
