Fitz Swing is a student big band which was formed in 1990 at Fitzwilliam College, but quickly expanded to take musicians from all corners of the University. We play a variety of music ranging from classic swing tunes from Count Basie to other jazz, funk and latin, so have music appropriate for any occasion. We play at a large number of may balls every year, as well as other events and concerts. We also have recording sessions and regularly go on international tours during the summer.
