CUBWTS aims to increase awareness and appreciation of wine by tasting blind (i.e. without prior knowledge of grape type, origin or grower).
We provide guided instruction on wine tasting techniques and detailed information on regions and styles. CUBWTS also fields the Cambridge teams for the annual Oxford-Cambridge Varsity Blind Wine Tasting Match, sponsored by Pol Roger, and other international competitions including the Left Bank Bordeaux Cup organised by the Commanderie du Bontemps.
