Cambridge Marxist Society is a group of communists organising for international revolution around the ideas of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Trotsky. We are involved in organising and educating both in and out of the University, with comrades at UoC, ARU and working throughout the city.
In 2023, we spent a lot of time on picket lines and at rallies, supporting striking workers of UCU, BMA, Unite, NEU and RCN - to name but a few! Comrades in UCU and Unite also submitted, defended and passed motions expressing solidarity with Palestine and pointing out the revolutionary way forward.
But in order to hit the streets and spread the ideas of communism, we also needed to study them! Comrades attended the MSF Summer Camp on the founding of the Third International, held multiple Regional Day Schools and attended Revolution Festival ’23.
