The original aim of ABACUS was to promote and celebrate Chinese culture in Britain. And to this end, ABACUS continues just as it started: it remains centred on socialising, meeting new people and having fun. Events throughout the year include the ABACUS Boat Party on the River Thames, Funkyard (the biggest Oriental club-night in Cambridge), Garden Party, an Annual Conference, and many other smaller events like formals, dim sum and karaoke. We encourage you to come along to one of our events, whether with your friends or by yourself, to meet new people and have a good time.
