The POLIS society is dedicated to creating an interdisciplinary space for the historical, contemporary and future study of public policy, gender, political thought, the global south, geopolitics, development studies, governance and human rights at the University of Cambridge. The society aims to host an multidisciplinary agenda of thought-provoking in-person and virtual talks and discussions throughout the year with speakers from government, international and regional organisations, NGOs and the private sector. It also incorporates POLIS’ extensive part-time student and alumni network to encourage connected ways of working and thinking. Whether you study politics or just love talking about it, or you want to find out more about the mechanics of the United Nations and the world order - EVERYONE is welcome.

See you soon,
