The Cambridge Journal of Political Affairs is a student-run academic journal dedicated to publishing undergraduate scholarly work that contributes to the understanding of politics.

The Cambridge Journal of Political Affairs is a student-run academic journal dedicated to publishing undergraduate scholarly work in a biannual online issue. The CJPA aims to provide a formative space for undergraduate students through an extensive peer-review process, with support from the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge.

The Journal’s core focus has traditionally been on politics. However, recognising that diverse perspectives are necessary to understand ‘the political’, it publishes papers from all areas of the discipline. This includes political philosophy, political history, comparative politics, international relations, political anthropology, and political sociology. The Journal is also keen to promote work that opens up dialogue between the traditional sub-disciplines of politics or that explores the intersections with sister disciplines. Further details on how to join the editorial board or propose a manuscript for review are available on the website.
