Overview

Quadball, formerly known as quidditch, is the UK's only fully mixed gender, full contact sport. Made up of chasers trying to score, beaters trying to throw dodgeballs at them, and seekers trying to catch the flag runner, the game is an eclectic mix of handball, dodgeball and rugby rolled into one. Since no one has played before university, it's a very easy sport to get into, and the taster will be aimed at complete beginners. Yet thanks to the growing number of teams across the UK, Europe, and the world, there's lots of room to play locally, nationally and even internationally should you enjoy it.

With hard baked rules requiring a maximum number of people on pitch identifying as any one gender, the sport is unique in its welcomeness of transgender and gender non-conforming members. Everyone gets to play under the gender that they best identify with.

This taster is completely free to attend and open to anyone. Simply wear loose, comfortable clothing you can play sports in and bring a water bottle. We hope to see you there!
