Do you manage caring responsibilities alongside your PhD studies?  Come along to the Alison Richard Building for talks from Caring Together (charity) and the University's Counselling Service along with stands sharing a range of internal and external resources of support. There will also be several mindfulness sessions available, a wellbeing space, and plenty of room if you need to bring the person you are caring for along with you. There will be tea and coffee throughout and an informal lunch from around 1pm.  No booking is needed, just drop in when you can.

This is an event designed to provide support, signposting and a social space for postgraduate students who have caring responsibilities.

Not sure if you are a carer?

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust define carers as 'anyone, including children and adults who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid.'
