My Experience:
- Welfare: I worked full time as an Activities Co-ordinator for a large residential care complex. I was responsible for organising daily social welfare events as well as fulfilling the personal welfare needs of residents with complex neurodegenerative conditions.
- Events: I am the Events Officer for the Foundation Scholars’ Progression Network, with my responsibilities including the organisation of networking events and social evenings for all current students and alumni of the Foundation Year.
- Teamwork: I stood on my county’s Youth Council for several years and was Vice President for my school’s Student Voice.

Finances: To sign Fitz up to the SU flagship intitiave for free prescriptions & collaborate with the college & students to apply for the College Wellbeing Stimulus Fund (up to £126k).

Feedback: To utilise the student feedback survey to ascertain what welfare support students really want & need right now.

Teamwork: To build constructive working relationships with the MNB Welfare Officer, Chaplain, Senior Tutor, & future Wellbeing Coordinator to improve community welfare holistically.

Support: To demystify obscure bureaucratic processes in college (such as financial support, disability resources, & welfare directories) through easily accessible flowcharts.

Fun Stuff: To organise as many fun perks as possible: lego in the library, care packages, welfare trips, and more!
