What?
Liberation Reps represent voices of marginalised students within the SU’s key student-led decision-making bodies, the Executive Committee and Student Council.
How and Why?
In doing so, they can offer thoughts and views on Sabbatical Officers campaigns, have a say on the political direction of the Union, and ensure intersectionality is built into all of this.
Who?
We are looking for committee members from societies that represent:
- BME students
- Disabled students
- International students
- LGBTQ+ students
- Students who identify as experiencing or having experienced social, educational, or economic disadvantage
- Women students, or students who identify as having experienced misogyny
12 roles are available in total, 1 Undergraduate and 1 Postgraduate per group. Your society must be registered as a Representative Student Group with the SU Activities Team.
