Press enquiries

If you would like to submit a press enquiry in relation to an article you may be writing, please email press@cambridgesu.co.uk. Press enquiries will only be considered on receipt of a written request and processed at the discretion of the Union.

When submitting a press enquiry to the Union, it is best practice for you to include the following:

  • The title of the article
  • Proposed date of publishing
  • A summary of the article content and how SU commentary will be used within this.
  • If requesting imagery, please provide the dimensions and resolution requried.
  • Contact details for any questions.

Cambridge SU reserves the right to request corrections to any published content that has been misquoted, miscredited or is otherwise factually incorrect. Where there is grounds to do so, Cambridge SU may seek legal recompense should corrections not be made in a professional and timely manner where the Union, or its staff, be subject to defamation or disrepute as a direct result of unethical journalism. The Union also takes the matter of online harassment of its employees or students as a result of published content very seriously and will raise complaints with the relevent industry bodies in the interests of protecting its members.
