Uniting linguists and culture enthusiasts across the university.
Our aim is to unite linguists across the university who may otherwise not get to meet. Studying different languages, taking different papers, and going to all four corners of the world on our Year Abroads, it's not surprising that linguists can feel like a bit of a disparate bunch. That's where CULCS comes in. We organise social events for MML students and speaker events designed for all those with an interest in modern foreign languages. We also publish a magazine called Polyglossia, which includes articles in foreign languages by Cambridge students. There are sections devoted to arts and literature, creative writing, politics and current affairs, and travel.
