CULES is a non-profit amateur dramatics group that aims to bring theatre to those who wouldn't normally get to see it, and to raise money for charity with our silly (and often musical!) comedy shows. Normally, we take our plays to special needs schools, homes for the elderly, youth groups and homeless shelters in the local area, with all the proceeds from donations going to raise money for a given charity chosen by the society. We aren't a 'serious' drama society, with emphasis on enthusiasm rather than experience, and we give a part in one of our shows to everyone who auditions so if you want to be in a show, you can be in a show!
See our website for more information on how to get involved, whether backstage or on stage, virtually or in-person. Or drop us an email on cules.president@gmail.com, cules.secretary@gmail.com or cules.social@gmail.com if you have any questions.
The 2026-7 committee is as follows (don't worry, we're all very friendly):
