The Camera is a Cambridge-based online arts and cultural review. It is run by graduate students and open to all submissions. We publish essays, interviews and reviews about contemporary topics in Cambridge and beyond.
As a society, we will create a space for new and emerging writers to experiment with form, gain experience of the commissioning process, and learn how to integrate their sense of stylistic identity with thought-provoking analysis. Additionally, we will commission and support artist talent in Cambridge and beyond.
The core aims of The Camera are:
- To deliver high-quality reportage and commentary on contemporary topics in the arts and culture in Cambridge and beyond
- To support emerging talent
- To provide opportunities to writers / artists / editors to develop transferable skills
