The Assassins' Guild is a termly game of mock assassination across Cambridge in the spirit of fun and frivolity. The aim is to 'kill' your targets with fun and safe weaponry whilst staying alive! “Assassination” is carried out with a variety of harmless toys or fake weapons which range from pens labelled as ‘knife’ to water pistols and the popular Nerf weaponry. Often people come up with more inventive and amusing ways to dispatch their targets!

Each game has a unique theme and players sign up under personas, writing humorous, narrative reports whilst carrying out their covert actions. The last player left alive at the end of term is the winner, forever glorified in Assassins' history on our website. In May week, a fast all-on-all game is run, with the person with the most points winning.

The Guild has, on average, more than a hundred players in each game. There are social events organised throughout the term, such as formal halls and pub-meets. It's fun and it's free!

Come and engage in the art of subterfuge. Make friends, make enemies, alliances and betrayals. Will you go down in history as the next Master Assassin?
