The Azura Motorsport Society is a student-led engineering and motorsport organisation focused on designing, developing, and racing a motorcycle for participation in the international MotoStudent competition. The Society brings together students from a wide range of disciplines to work on practical engineering challenges, vehicle development, motorsport innovation, and large-scale technical project delivery.
Its activities include the design, manufacture, testing, and optimisation of a competitive racing motorcycle, alongside the organisation of technical workshops, outreach initiatives, sponsor engagement, media production, and engineering events. Members gain hands-on experience across areas such as mechanical and electrical engineering, aerodynamics, data analysis, operations, finance, marketing, and project management.
The Society also aims to promote engineering innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and engagement with STEM both within the University and through external outreach and industry partnerships.
