Cambridge University Azerbaijani Society (CUAS) aims to celebrate and promote Azerbaijani culture, history, and language within the University of Cambridge.
Our activities will focus on:
* **Cultural Events:** Organising celebrations for significant Azerbaijani holidays such as Novruz (Spring Festival), Republic Day, and Day of Solidarity.
* **Social Gatherings:** Hosting regular social mixers, traditional Azerbaijani tea nights, and cuisine-tasting events to foster a strong sense of community among students.
* **Educational Activities:** Arranging talks by guest speakers, film screenings, discussion panels on Azerbaijani history and current affairs, and potentially introductory language workshops.
* **Showcasing Arts:** Highlighting Azerbaijani music, dance, literature, and art. The society will serve as a welcoming hub for all Azerbaijani students and any members of the University community interested in learning about and engaging with Azerbaijan's rich cultural heritage.
