We are Cambridge University's Rugby League Club. We train 3 times a week including 1 S&C session and 2 rugby sessions, allowing us to put out 1 team in BUCS every week throughout the year and build to our Varsity Match against Oxford in February where we put out a 1st and 2nd team. This year is a Home Varsity in Cambridge, coming off the back of the club’s first ever Away Varsity win and the first ever 1st and 2nd team double last season. This year we continue with our ex-Super League Head Coach who has driven standards hugely in his first season. First team players of the VM receive a Half-Blue, with Full Blues available under specific conditions of regional representation. We also put out a Women's team for a Varsity Match in Easter term. This coming year will be the first year we are organising invitational matches for the women's team during Lent term to help with their build up for the Varsity. The inclusive social aspect of the club is important to us and has strong buy-in from all members, including weekly dinner socials on a Friday and many swaps with other societies.
