Wanting to buy a stall at the Cambridge SU Freshers’ Fair but not sure which one? Look no further because here is a guide to each stall, including size, furniture and general atmosphere!
Indoor Stalls:
Indoor stalls are situated across our three marquees, and societies are split into different categories. These stalls are the place to be if you want to be situated in a lively environment. There are two types of indoor stalls:
Standard Indoor Stall
What’s the space size? 1.2m
What furniture do I get? A section of a table and one chair
Up to two society members can oversee the stall at one time
Large Indoor Stall
What’s the space size? 1.8m
What furniture do I get? Full trestle table and one chair
Up to three society members can oversee the stall at one time.
Outdoor Stalls
Outdoor stalls are perfect for clubs and societies that want to show off what they do at the fair and get other students to get involved, such as a sport or activity. More meaningful conversations can take place due to the larger space and quieter nature of the fair.

What furniture do I get? One table and two chairs

What’s the space size? 12x12m space
What furniture do I get? One table and two chairs

Q&As
Q. How many days is my stall for?
All society Freshers’ Fair stalls are for both days of the fair. For university and commercial stalls, this is subject to purchase.
Q. Do you do allocation requests?
We are unable to accept allocation requests as all stalls will be placed according to category.
Q. Can I buy a stall and share with another society?
Unfortunately not. Each stall is for one singular society.
Q. I’ve got a big society. Can I buy more than one stall?
You can only purchase one stall per society.
Q. Can I bring an extra chair?
You can bring one extra foldable chair to the fair with you if you would like to. However, please note, you can only have one chair behind a Standard Indoor stall.
Q. Okay, I’m sold and want to buy a stall. How do I do this?
Just add the stall to your chart and checkout! Please note that only one committee member can buy a stall.
