Overview

Liberation Forum is a space for all students working on liberation issues, whether on their J/MCR or as part of a society. This includes issues that affect:

  • BME students;
  • Disabled students;
  • International students;
  • LGBTQ+ students;
  • Students who identify as experiencing or having experienced social, educational, or economic disadvantage;
  • Women students, or students who have experienced misogyny.

Liberation Forum is an opportunity for these students to express their concerns about the issues affecting marginalised students; discuss the issues they’re working on; share ideas and best practice with one another; hear about the liberation work the SU is doing; and help to shape the SU's liberation campaigning. We at the SU want our work to be directed by the things you most care about, so we hope this space can allow you to share your thoughts openly!
