Hi, I'm Hannah, I'm a first year Archaeologist and I would love to be your Charities Officer!

Experience:

I have been part of my local Scout group for 10 years, so I have lots of experience helping with and running fundraising events. In sixth form, I helped to publicise and run events including a ready steady cook challenge and a christmas jumper swap that aimed to encourage sustainability. 

What I will do in the role:

I enjoy baking and being active, so bake sales and sponsored walks are how I would normally choose to raise money, but I will also be open to trying new things and helping anyone to organise something that they're interested in.
I'm particularly interested in supporting childrens' charities as I am a Scout leader and had the opportunity to work with a childrens' charity over the Summer, so I see first hand how beneficial these charities can be. I am also of course open to supporting other causes and would like to encourage anyone in college who has an idea to talk to me about what we can do.
