Building a Multicultural Community

Celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the people here is deeply important to us. Our BME would be an inclusive welcoming community that reaches out to bring students from different heritages together. 

Events and Intercollege Events

To us, the aim of BME events is to bring members of this community together and help promote the cultures within the community. We are planning on hosting a cultural fair in which people will be able to come into contact with the myriad of cultures in the college. It is also important to connect with the BME communities of the other colleges around us and so we will be hosting more social gatherings collaboratively to enable people to build new connections.

Trust and Confidence

The most important part of the BME is to create a safe an open space for people. Our aim is through our events and communication to build trust with the community and provide a welcoming environment for everyone.
