I have both a physical disability and mental health challenges, so as disabilities and mental illness officer I can relate to your struggles. Plus, I'm a second year: I have had a year of experience living in Fitz with a disability, and of handling the struggles Cambridge poses to our mental health. This means I'm constantly aware of what level of support and accessibility we have here - I'm ready to raise my views on what does or doesn't need to change, but I'm more eager to make change happen for everyone else. 

I want to build a stronger community of those of us with mental and/or physical conditions, especially for current first years and incoming freshers. Navigating life away from home is hard for everyone, not least those of us with disabilities or mental illnesses. I want to to build a space for us to support each other and pass on the knowledge we've collected.
