Your Voice

At Cambridge SU, we are run by you, our members. Every student at the University of Cambridge is a member of the Union, and has lots of ways to make themselves heard in the SU.

  • Fly-Sheets Whilst the University is operating within the Covid-19 pandemic, students and sabbatical officers will be able to sign fly-sheets via the SU website.
  • NUS Delegates NUS Delegates represent Cambridge SU at NUS National Conference, which shapes the campaigns and priorities for our national union.
  • Policy Policy sets out the principles by which Cambridge SU conducts itself and its campaigns, and mandates the Executive to carry out specific actions.
  • SU Bulletin: Submit an Item Submit your events or updates to our weekly bulletin for all current students to see.
  • Projects What are we working on? Read about our Cambridge SU projects and find out how you can get involved.
  • SU Campaigns There are seven campaigns that exist within Cambridge SU; they are communities within the SU’s student membership. Each group has its own committee, events and campaigns that they run.
  • Student Council The Student Council decides the work of Cambridge SU. It passes motions mandating our team to undertake pieces of work, and makes appointments to union committees.
  • Elections Cambridge SU holds elections for all of its major roles. Our full-time sabbatical officers are elected annually in Lent term.
  • College Reps Find and connect with your college J/MCR committee and explore their work within the student community.
  • Academic Reps Academic Reps are the voice of students in Faculties, Departments and Schools. They work year round to represent student interests and make positive changes to education.
