The Cambridge University Biological Anthropology Society (CUBAS) aims to promote the field of biological anthropology and related disciplines such as, but not limited to palaeontology, biology and geology. To this end, we provide a space in Cambridge for both students and researchers to meet and discuss their interests.
In pursuance of these aims, we meet at least once a month to host events including lecture series by students, faculty, and visiting speakers, viewings, and other activities related to biological anthropology and related disciplines.
Anyone interested in biological anthropology can join the society as an Associate Member. Anyone at the University of Cambridge can join the society as a Fellow, as decided by an election of the current body of Fellows. We also offer a Life Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship as decided by the consensus of current Fellows.
