Not sure if you 'count' as disabled or Class Act?

Disability can apply to any long-term condition that can affect day-to-day living. Here is a list of some of the things that fall under the umbrella of disability (not an exhaustive list!). If you have - or think you might have - any of these conditions, you are welcome in the Campaign, even if you don't self-identify as disabled! Nobody will question you right to be a part of the Campaign.

ADHD/ADD, Anxiety (social/generalised), Asthma, Autism (Asperger’s/ASD), Bipolar Disorder, Bleeding Disorders, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Coeliac Disease (Celiac), Depression, Diabetes, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Eating Disorders, Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS), Endometriosis, Epilepsy, Fibromyalgia, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), Hearing Impairments, HIV, Heart Conditions, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), IBD (Crohn’s/Ulcerative Colitis), Kidney Conditions, Lupus, Mental Health Issues, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Narcolepsy, Neurodivergence, OCD, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), PTSD, Personality Disorders, Psychosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scoliosis, Tourette Syndrome, Thyroid Disorders, Visual Impairments

Class Act covers anyone who comes from a non-traditional background at Cambridge, such as (but not limited to!) being first generation, working class, low income, estranged, care-experienced, or state-comprehensive educated. If you self-identify with any of these, or think the community might be valuable to you for another reason, you are welcome - nobody will question your right to be involved.

Access Statement:

All Cam uni members have access to Google Meet through your uni login, but you can join with any Google account - be aware that your display name will match your preferred name on whichever Google Account you join with. Live captions are available on both desktop and mobile. You can choose to turn on your video and/or microphone, or leave them off and just use the chat function, it's up to you!
