We've all had a strange Michaelmas, and it's looking like Lent may well be the strangest one yet. The dreaded Rona has meant that there have been a lot fewer opportunities to connect with other students and to build our communities.

ReFreshers is the perfect chance to get to get involved and meet some new people. Drop in to the Class Act ReFresh and get to know some of our committee, find out more about what we're about, and ask any questions you might have about the weird and wonderful place that is the Class Act Campaign. Who doesn't love a natter with some friendly folk from similar backgrounds to you?

NB: students from any year, undergrad or postgrad, are more then welcome to come along

But what is Class Act?
Class Act covers anyone who experienced any kind of social, cultural, educational or economic disadvantage. This includes (but is definitely not limited to!) being first generation, working class, low income, estranged, care-experienced, or state-comprehensive educated. If you self-identify with any of these, or think the community might be valuable to you for another reason, you are welcome. There is no hierarchy of disadvantage and you will never be asked to disclose your reasons for being here.

Access Statement:
The event will be held on Microsoft Teams, allowing for closed captioning. Please note that you cannot change your display name on Teams, so your name will appear as the one on your Cambridge account. You are welcome to join from a personal account to get around this. You can choose to turn on your video and/or microphone, or leave them off and just use the chat function, it's up to you! Feel free to arrive or leave or take a break at any time. Please drop the page a message if you have any questions or concerns.
