Looking to develop your skills, meet new people, and make a difference beyond your academic work? The Cambridge SU working with the University's Civic Engagement team and Wolfson College are hosting a Student Volunteering Fair.

This event, open to all students, brings together local charities, community organisations, and student-led projects. Come and get involved. Volunteering is a great way to explore your interests, connect with the local Cambridge community and enrich your university experience.

Whether you're keen to support a cause or simply curious to learn more, come along to chat with inspiring organisations and see what opportunities are out there.

Whether you’re a new student coming to Cambridge for the first time, or a returning student deep into your studies, hundreds of societies, commercial and University stalls (and lots of freebies!) will be present for you to explore. The fair is completely free to attend, just simply turn up!

Freshers Fair will be run on Parker’s Piece this year on 06/10/26 and 07/10/26 from 10:00 until 16:00.In order to be in line with our beliefs on accessibility and equal opportunity,we are going to be having access hours at the Fair from 15:00 - 16:00 on day 1 and 10:00 - 11:00 on day 2, these hours will have no amplified music and venue capacity will be lowered.

There is wheelchair access. There is basic seating, an accessible toilet, a gender-neutral toilet, a designated quiet space, general car parking and blue badge parking available at the Queen Anne Carpark (located next to Parker's Piece). There isn't a hearing loop or a BSL interpreter.
